Six years.........still goin strong!

I can't believe it but six years ago TODAY Nate & I were married! I can't believe how fast time has gone. Our wedding day was seriously magical and I never get tired of watching our wedding video. We got off to a rough start (mostly due to immaturity) but our mistakes have definitely made us stronger and we wouldn't take them back for anything. Nate was one of my best friends in high school and I never had as much fun than I did when I was with him. When he returned home from his mission, it only seemed natural to be together. I have always said that I truly married my best friend and that is what Nate is, my best friend. We have never been able to stay away from each other no matter how hard we tried. Every day is an adventure with him and I know no matter how old we get, he will always keep me laughing. So, Happy Anniversary to my hubby - I love you!

Memorial Weekend

We had a pretty relaxed Memorial weekend this year. We normally go camping with my family but it was too cold this year and seriously, I'm about ready to pop - that's the last thing I want to do right now. Anyway, we wound up taking the kids fishing at the North Ogden Trout Farm on Saturday and they LOVED it. Then, that night we went out to Pizza Plus in Tremonton (if you haven't been, you really should. Yum!) and then back to my parents house to roast marshmallows. Then, Sunday we went back up to my parents house for a BBQ and then to shoot trap. That's right, that's how we do it in Harper Ward! Monday we spent the day with Nate's family also having a BBQ and swimming at his parents house. Nate's sister is into that foot zoneology stuff so she zoned my feet forever trying to speed up the whole birthing process. I also jumped on the tramp trying to get things moving along but obviously I'm sitting here looking like a Heffalump so no such luck! The last couple of pics I stole from my sisters blog! I didn't even think to bring my camera after the fishing so I'm glad she did! Thanks Colee!!!
Overall, it was a nice relaxing weekend and it doesn't get much better than spending time with the ones you love! Hope you all had a nice weekend as well!

Oh my.......it has happened people!!!

That's right, I attempted the potty training again and I think it's safe to say that Dax is potty trained. For all of you that told me to stop and pick it up again later, well thank you and you were right. He has definitely picked it up and loves it! We have not had an accident for over a week and I am no longer saying "do you have to go potty?" every two minutes. WOW!!! I seriously thought we would be taking him to kindergarten in diapers. Anyway, just thought I would post the good news and also I have been slacking on the whole blogging thing lately.

I had a doctors appt last week and he flipped into position so that's good news but the bad news is that he is HUGE! My doctor said he is already six pounds and I still have like four weeks left so that's kinda scary! Oh well, what can ya do? Just as long as I don't break some Utah record and appear on the news! I have been working on the nursery so I will post some pics of it when I am finished.
