New Pictures

Here are some new pictures of Talan! He is already changing and starting to look different (still can't tell who he looks like but he is looking more normal). We are still at the hospital (Nate is in seventh heaven that they have internet in the rooms) and Talan and I both are doing great. He is so cute and has the sweetest little spirit. Daxton has been in seventh heaven playing with cousins and he loves his new little brother.
This whole experience has been unbelievable! We checked into the hospital at 11:30 and they started the pittosin around 12:30. When we checked in I was dilated to a three and seventy percent effaced. They gave me the epidural around two and I didn't feel a contraction after that. At about 6:00pm, they checked me and I was at a 9 1/2 and they called my doctor. Once my doctor arrived, they had me push for about five minutes and at 6:38 pm, he was here. Nate and I were both pretty emotional when his little spirit entered that room - it's unbelievable the emotions you feel when these little people cross through the vail! I could not believe how easy everything was. Daxtons delivery from start to finish was awful and I really thought this delivery would be the same but it was amazing!
It is so strange to think that we are a family of four now and every time I hold him or look at him I realize how lucky I am to have these two healthy little boys that I love more than life itself.

Getting cuter every day!

Wow! Who's a proud daddy?

My sister did a really cute post about Talans big day so if you want to check it out, it's on Paul & Nicoles blog. Thanks Colee, you're the best!

Talan Nathan Sumko

Our little guy is finally here! What an amazing experience his delivery was. Night and day difference from Daxtons. He weighs 7 lbs 13 oz and is 20 inches long. Mom is doing great!!! We still can't tell who he looks like but he is very different from Dax, he has blonde curly hair. He is perfect and we are so excited that he is here. We will post more pics once things slow down.

Here we go..............

I had my last and final appt tonight and my doctor is starting me tomorrow (I guess that's today now)! He said that McKay Dee has been swamped with labor and delivery because of the full moon so I have to call in at seven in the morning to see when I can come. So, apparently this gravitational pull stuff works on everybody but ME! I had made no progress since last week but he is getting worried about the size so he wants to start me. What the crap is wrong with my body and why does it refuse labor? Anyway, hopefully I get in tomorrow but we will be posting the news as soon as we can. By the way, I am FREAKING out! I am so much more scared this time than I was with Dax! A lot of that is because of the trauma we went through with Daxtons delivery but having a child already here makes it even worse. I keep thinking of the worst case scenarios (morbid, I know) and I get choked up just thinking of saying goodbye to Daxton tomorrow. It's true, kids bring out the worry in everything! Just wanted to post an update and let's just hope everything goes well and quick!

For your viewing pleasure.....

This is seriously how things are around our house these days! Poor Nate or I guess I should say poor anyone that comes in contact with me! It's about eight minutes long if you have the time and I'm sure you won't find it as entertaining as I do right now but watch it if you want a quick laugh. This show has always been my favorite! (Remember to turn off my music first.)

Still Here - No Baby!

That's right...........NOTHING! I'm sure a lot of you have been checking to see if there is a new post about our little guy being born but NO! No contractions, effacing, dilating - NOTHING!!! Are you kidding me? He is going to stay in there until someone pulls him out. I have an appt on Thursday so hopefully there will be promising news but I'm not counting on it. My body doesn't go into labor! However, the good news is I got the nursery finally ready so here are some pics of how it turned out. These pics don't do it justice but you'll get the point!

Ta dah!!! We have decided to name him Talan! Unless for some reason he comes out looking like something different!

So there's the nursery! Now all we need is the baby! Let's hope something happens soon - he's HUGE!
